...or what I learnt by facing East

Hey ,
I have recently launched a new nature-informed 1:1 coaching and mentoring offer.
I wanted to find a way to bring to life the sort of tools and techniques we might use if you decide to work with me.
So, I have recorded a 'four directions'
meditation that is available for you to listen to on my website.
Four directions meditations invite you to spend some time in nature looking towards each of the four points of the compass and thinking about certain prompts as you take in the scene in front of you.
For example, East is associated with dawn and Spring, and represents new beginnings, so as you face in that direction, you might think about the seeds you are planting in your environmentalism efforts or making practice. What is new or emerging? What needs tending? As you ponder these questions, you might spot a pair of blackbirds collecting twigs and think about how you could build a 'nest' to protect these new ideas...
You get the idea.
I have found the four directions meditation to be a super powerful way to reflect on my life and business – I was lucky enough to go on a nature retreat with the BioLeadership Fellowship last Spring, and spent a whole hour working
my way around a tree, asking myself the questions raised by each direction. It gave me new and powerful insights into several challenges I was facing at the time.
This resource is free for you to use whenever you would like to, so check it out and do let
me know how you get on.
And this is just one of the many nature-informed tools and techniques we might use if you decide to invest in coaching with me – and I am learning about new approaches all the time.
